Mission Statement:

New Life Enrichment Center wants to impact the next generation by providing educational, moral and social assistance to the entire family. The purpose of the Florida Pregnancy Support Services Program is to promote the well-being of pregnant women and their babies by promoting life-affirming decisions.

History:

Since the inception of the New Life Enrichment Center, our chief goal has been to meet people of our community at their point of need - mentally, physically and spiritually. By providing educational services, groceries and by offering a host of practical programs including: Job Services, GED preparation, Computer Lab, Adult Basic Literacy and Health, we aim to help educate our clients and offer assistance in their time of need.

GED preparation, Computer Lab, Nutrition, Relationship building and the semi-annual Health Fairs are just part of what makes our goals attainable. The groceries they take home allow them to prepare meals for themselves.

By taking advantage of these services, the community obtain the desired end result; helping themselves.

Purpose:

To help the youth:

• increase reading comprehension
• develop writing and math skills
• increase their performance on the FCAT and other school testing
• uplift self-esteem, self awareness and self acceptance

Tutoring Center:

• assist students with College Preparation Studies, Scholarship & Grant Applications and Financial Aid
• Provides help with the FCAT and various subject matters
• Homework assistance
• assist with building basic skills, phonics and reading comprehension

Job Center:

• Job Placement and Preparation Skills
• Resume Writing and Interviewing Tips
• Job Fairs

Health Center:

• Provides health information to entire family
• Health Fairs and Testing
• Health Services Referrals

Family and Counseling Center:

• Provide Parenting Classes
• GED Preparation
• One on One Counseling
• Group Counseling
• Builds confidence and raise self esteem
